Refund policy

In the event the customer does not want to hire the equipment, the customer must give at least 14 days notice and will be given a 100% refund or store credit.

 

Cancellations falling outside the 14 day period will not be refunded the total hiring price. This is due to the potential of Momentous Event Hire not being able to refill the booking again on such short notice. 

 

If there are any concerns with the item at pickup, the hirer has the obligation to make Momentous Event Hire aware and we will amend the situation. The hirer will have to give written notification within 2 hour of pickup in this instance. 

 

In the event the user cannot use the equipment (due to non self inflicted events) the customer will receive a full refund. This includes COVID lockdowns where events cannot go ahead, earthquakes, fires and other events of similar nature.
